Why use stories in your professional life? Stories are remembered more vividly than facts and figures. We are attracted to stories because they relate to people. Telling stories is highly effective when communicating ‘your message’ to your business partners, clients, colleagues, customers or students. Telling stories may persuade and inspire people and can help organisations to learn and change.

How can you use stories in your professional life? In our workshop you will learn how to improve your storytelling ability and a lot more:

  • (Seven) Basic plots
  • Key ingredients of a powerful story
  • Creating your own stories related to your profession
  • Practise storytelling
  • Incorporate different aims and ingredients
  • Using body and voice effectively

Our workshops are highly participatory and you will have ample opportunity to create and practise your storytelling techniques in a supportive environment.

What our participants think of our workshops

‘It was an absolute delight to meet Andrew and work with him. It was a real pleasure to of worked with him. The way he ran the course was brilliant and time didn’t drag, which was due to his amazing training skills. He is one of the best trainers that I have ever been on a course with. That’s a real credit to your company.’ MG Nov 21

‘Overall, it was an excellent course. The content was well delivered, we had lots of opportunities to practice each part (either alone, in small groups or as a whole group) and to receive feedback from our trainer as well as from the other participants.’ ASR Apr 22
